I wanted to say that I was so happy with this that you inspired me to learn to draw!

I'm 31 years old. I spent my whole life saying I can't do creative things. But it turns out that was all due to an art teacher I had in high school who used to show my work to the whole class and make fun of it :/ She also once duct taped my mouth shut for talking in class. Really great teacher...

So she pretty much scared me from even trying to learn even though I wanted to and admire people who can.

Anyway I decided to learn but I wasn't very hopeful. A week ago I couldn't even draw a smiley face well. I'm not exaggerating. It was that bad. But I've been studying like crazy since then, and practicing some things on a tablet I got.

Mine's not super great but hey I literally just started a week ago and I'm pretty pleased with it. The shading isn't great because I honestly haven't studied that yet and just guessed at it lol. Also later I realized it's shaded like it's lit from the front but the shadow is like the light is behind. Oops!

So thank you for inspiring me because I'm really excited to learn this. I've always wanted to be able to take stuff from my head and make it real. And it seems with practice I will be able to. Yay!
